In voice-over stories a news anchor reads the script while video or graphic depictions appear on the
screen so that the anchor is heard, not seen. In such stories interviews and reporters are not present in
voice or in appearance. A voice-over-sound-on tape story is similar to the voice-over but in this case
there is typically one interview and no reporter present. A package is a story in which the anchor reads
an introduction on camera and then a reporter appears in voice narration and often in a stand-up address
to the camera. In other words, it is an independent report complied and narrated by the reporter. Often
more than one interview is included.
