Petrescu currently teaches in the MPA Programs at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, and at Strayer  University in Philadelphia.  Formerly, he has taught in and directed the MPPM Program at the University of Texas at Brownsville, taught in the MA in Political Science and MPA Programs at the University of Toledo, with GSPIA at the University of Pittsrburgh etc.  Before that, he served in a senior public servant capacity in policy advising/making with the Parliament of Romania after, and in part facilitating, the sweeping changes in said country after December 1989. This paper integrates and expands from experiences with a variety of students in a variety of settings, as well as from a scholar-practitioner-coach of practitioners approach to teaching and studying the discipline in an interdisciplinary way. 1
