Office Assistant

All Academic is looking for a good-fit office assistant to join our team. If you are a great communicator with the ability to work both individually and within a group to solve problems you should consider applying. Our ideal employee would be a quick learner who is interested in growing with the company.

The office assistant serves as a key representative of our company, and regularly communicates via phone and email with our clients. Additionally, this person will serve as a liaison between our clients and the technical team.

All Academic is an established web application company working with academics around the world to build and run successful conferences. Our software helps conference managers cope with the complex issues involved in receiving submissions, reviewing and scheduling their conference.

This job will have a six-month evaluation period.

Competitive wage will be full-time, hourly, and based on experience.

Work hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm.

Location: Eugene, OR


  • Answer phones and emails from clients
  • Resolve basic support questions
  • Escalate more complicated support issues to technical staff
  • Follow-up with clients to determine if issues are satisfactorily resolved
  • Maintain office calendar
  • Input information into our web application
  • Complete various projects

Preferred Knowledge/Experience:

  • Proof of High School Diploma/GED. Associate degree or bachelor degree preferred.
  • Basic end-user applications [e.g. Microsoft Office and similar applications]
  • Proficient in troubleshooting & fault isolation
  • Ticketing and knowledge based software
  • General office equipment usage [e.g. office phones, printers, scanners, fax]
