As part of a larger study, participants (women = 144, men = 122) completed a semi-structured interview about messages they received from parents and peers about sexuality, sex, dating, and romantic relationships. Interviews were coded for themes of power, intimacy, equality, and casual relations. Both generational and gender differences emerged. |
