Abstract:

ALIF is a partnership between Michigan State University and the Dearborn Public Schools to create the nation's first K-16 Arabic Language program. Presenters from both institutions will discuss the opportunities and challenges involved in meshing two entities, developing curriculum, administering assessments, finding appropriate instructional materials, and enhancing community relations.
