Abstract:

This paper provides a critical analysis of the globalization process and its impact throughout the world. It examines the nature and dynamics of globalization and its economic, social, and political manifestations on a world scale, highlighting the historical and international dimensions of this process. The paper explores various theoretical and empirical issues concerning globalization and takes up a discussion of some of the major problems generated by this process – problems that are affecting societies around the world and will lead to the emergence of forces to effect social change and transformation. |
