Publication Type: Conference Paper/Unpublished Manuscript Abstract: Most of the literatures on woman battering deals with the problems in the United States. However, woman battering is a brutal crime that crosses all cultural boundaries. This study introduces the relationships between culture, Taiwan's feminist movement and woman battering in Taiwan by using content analysis. Chinese women's status in the society, woman battering in Taiwan and the development of Taiwan's feminist movement will be discussed. |
