This paper is on the effects of the newly introduced mixed electoral system in the 17th National Assembly election in Korea. Thi paper analyzed survey data, examining the portion of ticket splitting, charateristics of ticket splitters, and patterns of split-ticket voting. I also analyzed relating "one man two votes" electoral system such as its effect on turnout rate, disproportionality, and regionally based voting behavior. |
