Abstract:

This presentation will focus on African-American women and sexual assault on college campuses. In particular, it will provide more in-depth information on outreach programming for African-American women on sexual assault, address the barriers that have impeded helping African-American college women who have been sexually assaulted, and provide best-practice recommendations for university counseling centers.
