Abstract:

The four faculty members in the psychology department at Wells College have been immersed in the process of curriculum transformation since the fall of 2004. The decision to diversify our curriculum was precipitated by our acknowledgment that the field has been dominated by Western perspectives and has not adequately represented the experience of diverse groups and cultures. We hope to exchange ideas with the discussion participants so that we can learn from one another's journey down this difficult and transformational road.
