* I have not touched on the majority of actual “meat” in this paper! There is especially a great deal at the professional and social policy levels which has been omitted for the sake of what small clarity in a few ideas is here. But ultimately, I know that it is about the gap because that is what it means to live continuously in the past, present, and future as one navigates social life with a sensory impairment.
