Abstract:

This study examined the effects of inductive and deductive methods in teaching Mandarin. Forty-three students participated. The participants underwent the procedure from pretest to treatment, to posttests, and then to delayed posttests. Two types of measures grammar accuracy judgments and writing production were used.
