Abstract:

This paper explores the relationships between Foreign Direct Investment, economic growth, and income inequality in a pooled time-series cross-section statistical model with 68 countries from 1970 to 2000. The empirical findings shows there is no effect of FDI stocks on income inequality while the effect of FDI inflow on income inequality is non-linear.
