Abstract:

This program provides a 3-day summer retreat for beginning teachers (and their principals) working in high need schools, prior to the start of their initial induction year. Follow-up options include a series of teacher induction seminars during the first three years of teaching to smooth the transition through the full induction period and increase retention rates in teaching.
