This paper is based on a content analysis of frames and images from the 2006 Israel Hezbollah war on American television. Reviewing television news over the 33 days of this war on ABC, CBS, CNN, FOX and NBC, this paper analyzes which frames and images dominated and assess if there were notable changes in framing in relation to a number of factors including casualties (civilian and military), the Qana incident and policy shifts over the period. |
