Publication Type: Conference Paper/Unpublished Manuscript Abstract: Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations are becoming both more common and more controversial in agricultural communities. Undergraduate Research Methods students designed and delivered a survey about attitudes toward CAFOs in a mostly rural Michigan county with 9 such operations. Attitudes vary widely, and are reported along urban/rural, ideological, and gender dimensions. |
