Abstract: To develop significant 2nd language proficiency FLES programs must be integrated into U.S. elementary schools. In response to the Pentagon's "Call to Action" for long term foreign language study and the President's National Language Security Initiative of 2006, the Department of Defense Education Activity has successfully launched a FLES Spanish Initiative. |
