Abstract: Current measures of partner violence are based on models of male violence towards women and inaccurately represent the content and meaning of women’s violence. Theoretical and statistical analyses of three commonly used measures of partner violence suggests that violence is gendered and provides an improved, gender appropriate measure of women’s violence. |
