Abstract: This Internet survey of 884 college students investigates how gender and media use relate to measures of political attitudes and behavior. Specifically, it looks at how men and women differ in their use of traditional and nontraditional sources of political information and how those sources of information may correlate with feelings of cynicism, trust, efficacy and with interpersonal communication about politics and participation in political activities. |
