Abstract: What professional development (PD) leaders need to know to construct high quality PD is under-defined. This mixed-method research design examines leaders’ mathematical knowledge for teaching (MKT) and leaders’ collective mathematical activities in leader PD. This novel use of MKT is central in our exploratory study to raise questions and hypotheses about MKT and what leaders need to know to lead. |
